Thanks to Gene, Paul's "little" brother, we had prime seating for the famous Provo 4th of July Parade. The parade had all the ingredients of a first class Western town parade. By the time we got back to the car, we were all starved. We used the gift card from Paul's Father's Day to treat ourselves, Gene and granddaughter, Jeanne, to lunch at Chilly's. The next big event was not until that evening when we found a traditional spot to watch the fire works displays light up the entire valley. Every city as far as we could see to the South, West, and North had impressive patriotic demonstrations, but the biggest of all was from the Stadium of Fire on the BYU campus. Our spot located on the East hill behind the stadium gave us a perfect view.
